This move will facilitate 12,787 students under the off campus mode in their second and third years to continue their programmes, besides enabling 4055 students to complete their programmes after appearing for the practical and viva voice, a university press release said.
The University had issued orders to close down the off campus centres in three stages following directions from the Chancellor, High Court and State Government.
Vice Chancellor Dr Babu Sebastian convened a meeting to discuss the implementation aspects of the Government directions today.
Based on the government's directions, the meeting decided to convene University recognized Coordinators of the off campus centres on July 22 to activate the academic process for the off campus students.
The course materials for the students as well as the mark lists will be distributed through the coordinators. The practical and viva voce examinations will be conducted by the University with the support of the coordinators.
