During routine checking, police arrested 11 persons from various locations and seized 240 full bottles and 378 quarter bottles of liquor from them, SHO of Modinagar police station Deepak Sharma said.
The Tata Safar SUV used for transporting the liquor has also been impounded, he said, adding, all the arrested persons are natives of Haryana and are professional bootleggers.
In another incident, Sihani Gate police today arrested one person identified as Anil from Sikrod area and seized 48 quarter bottles of IMFL from his possession, said SHO Upendra Yadav.
