One arrested for raping, killing minor girl

A youth has been arrested for allegedly raping and killing a seven-year-old girl at Shorem village here, police said today.
"The girl, who was missing for past six days was found murdered last night following which the accused was arrested," SP (Rural) Vinit Bhatnagar said.
It is suspected that she was murdered after being raped as her body was found naked, he said.
