One passenger killed, 15 injured as tempo rams into truck

A passenger was killed and fifteen others injured when a tempo in which they were travelling rammed into a truck on Delhi-Jaipur highway today, police said.
The incident took place in the morning when the tempo carrying passengers was on its way to Jaipur from Shahpura rammed into the truck moving in the same direction at Atela village, they said.
One passenger died on the spot while fifteen others were injured. Three of the injured were rushed to Jaipur's Sawai Man Singh Hospital, official said.
The deceased is yet to be identified, police said adding that the truck driver fled from the spot after the accident.

The investigation is on in the matter and the efforts are on to nab the accused, they said.
