One sentenced to life imprisonment in BSP leader murder case

A local court today awarded life imprisonment to a person for his role in the murder of a BSP leader in 2010.
Sessions Judge Shyam Vinod awarded life imprisonment to Bal Krishna Mishra alias Monu for killing BSP leader Hanuman Sharan Shukla on April 14, 2010.
The BSP leader was shot dead when he was attending a programme and four persons -- Monu, BJP leader Prem Narain Pandey, Ashtbhuja Mishra and Sheshdutt Tiwari -- were named in the murder case.
The other three were released by the court for lack of evidence.
