The deceased, both in their late 20s, were identified as Shyam Lal and Ram Keval, both of whom worked as gardeners at the farmhouse where they were beaten to death.
"The incident took place this morning when the duo got into a heated argument with some persons who also worked at the farmhouse following which a scuffle broke out among them," said a police official.
The scuffle turned ugly when the other group attacked the two with iron rods causing them with grievous head injuries. After beating Ram and Shyam, the accused fled from the spot. A call was made to police who rushed them to a nearby hospital where doctors declared them brought dead, he said.
"We expect to make some arrests soon," the officer said.
