Taking into account the overwhelming response, the organisers have decided to have 426 oral presentations and 356 poster presentations at eight different parallel venues, a statement from GAF said.
The huge number of abstract submissions received reflects the quantity of research that is happening in Ayurveda and related subjects across the world.
Papers from scholars of various other disciplines like Biotechnology, Botany and other related subjects have also been included in this year's International Seminar as part of the festival, it said.
All national institutions and Ayurveda universities have confirmed participation in the international seminar series that will be part of the festival.
Over 4,000 delegates from 35 countries are expected to attend GAF 2014, he said.
