Briefing reporters about the outcome of the drive during the day, Additional Chief Election Officer R Lakshamanan said Rs 33 lakh was seized from Kisanganj, Rs 19 lakh from Dalsinghsarai in Samastipur and Rs 5.49 lakh from Rosera in Samastipur.
He said 23,432 litres of illegal liquor was seized in raids across Bihar.
One detonator was recovered in the Maoist-hit Jamui district during the operation, he said.
On the law and order front, nine arms/weapons were seized along with five explosives, he said.
Two bombs and 19 cartridges were also seized in the operation, Lakshamanan added.
