OVL inks contract for two exploration blocks in Myanmar

ONGC Videsh Ltd, the overseas arm of state-owned Oil and Natural Gas Corp (ONGC), today said it has signed a contract for two exploration blocks in Myanmar.
Production Sharing Contracts (PSCs) for onland exploration blocks B-2 and EP-3 were signed in Myanmar on August 8, the company said in a statement here.
OVL had bid and won two onland blocks in Myanmar's bidding round last year. It already has presence in Myanmar with stake in A-1 and A-3 offshore gas blocks and Shwe Gas pipeline.
