The incident happened on the intervening night of March 10 and 11.
Three men had come to the Boom Box Cafe for celebrating the birthday of one of them. When it was time for the restaurant to close down at 1 am, they were asked to leave after making the bill payment, they added.
A dispute arose over the bill payment and they got into a brawl with Rizul Garg, one of the partners in the restaurant and his brother Nikunj. One of the three men also whipped out a "pistol" but later kept it inside his pocket, the police said.
Police anlaysed the CCTV camera footage and a man was seen whipping out a "pistol-like object" but later kept it back inside. But due to the commotion, the face of that person was not visible, they added.
Later, two of the accused were identified and arrested today. Police are examining the culpability of the man, whose birthday was being celebrated at the venue.
In the CCTV footage, it was also seen that hookahs were being served to the customers by the restaurant and music was being played at high decibel. The restaurant owners have been booked under the relevant sections of the Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products Act (COTPA).
