The electricity bill for the month of October was sent to Rajesh Chautala by Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (UHBVN).
"It was a real shock for me when I saw the electricity bill mentioning the amount Rs 132.29 crore," Chauatla said.
The paan (betel leaf) seller said he used only a fan and a bulb at his shop, questioning UHBVN authorities as to how could he get a huge bill for such low power consumption
"We will investigate the matter to see how a bill of such a big amount was issued to him (Chautala)," UHBVN Executive Engineer S Chawla said.
