Paes-Melzer to face Bhupathi-Bopanna in 2nd rd at Monte Carlo

Leander Paes and his Austrian partner Jurgen Melzer entered the second round of the Monte Carlo Masters after registering an easy straight-set victory over local combo of Benjamin Balleret and Guillaume Couillard here today.
The unseeded Indo-Austrian pair took an hour and eight minutes to get the better of the wildcard entrants, 6-3 7-5.
Paes and Melzer will next take on Indian duo of Mahesh Bhupathi and Rohan Bopanna, who got a bye in their opening round match of the event.
