The Rs.One crore project, a joint venture by the SNR Sons Charitable Trust and Rotary Club of Coimbatore Satellite Dist RI 321, is on a 3,500 square feet built up area and will take care of the needy patient's treatment and their care till they become free from cancer.
P Venugopalan Menon, District Governor, RI District 3201, inaugurated the project in the presence of R Vijayakumhar, Managing Trustee, SNR Sons Charitable Trust.
Vijayakumhar said the centre will have 25 beds in a patient friendly atmosphere in a clean and calm environment with loving care.
Two new pain management specialists will be treating the patients in this home and patients will be given psychological counselling with best nursing support and medical support,thus becoming the first centre with all facilities under one roof, he claimed.
