During her speech at the inaugural function at BJP's election office in Bapunagar area here, Patel also reminded them that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is having high hopes from the party for the upcoming local body polls in the state.
"Let us fight this election with all our strength. Remember that God is with us, so there is no reason to worry. You all are witness to the fact that how Gujarat received rain when we have lost hopes during this monsoon," she said.
While the municipal corporations of Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara, Rajkot, Jamnagar and Bhavnagar would go to polls on November 22, the voting for 31 district panchayats, 230 taluka panchayats and 56 municipalities will take place on November 29.
Patel also admitted that it will be very tough for the party to handle all these elections taking place in quick succession.
"On the issue of four candidates-per-ward system, Congress went to High Court and then to Supreme Court. Due to such negative approach of Congress, we are facing this situation. But, BJP workers are ready to face any challenge" she added.
