Titled 'Twist in My Sobriety', the collection was mainly in light hues of white, red and blue.
Bringing an early summery feel to the runway, Payal's simple-yet-elegant line consisted of dresses, maxi dresses, jumpsuits and structured jackets.
"I just wanted to do something from my heart and this time I felt like working with monal tones and neutral tones. For me red and blue are neutral. So, I wanted to keep it simple and clutter-free," Payal told reporters post the show.
"I used Indian-inspired patterns. I experimented with lot of drapes and dresses. I chose a lot of linen, chaderis, khadis and linen satins," the designer said.
The ramp made use of bamboo sticks as a decorative piece, and Payal said it was her way of going rustic.
"I'm rustic at heart. I was going back to my roots. For me this is raw, simple and pure.
