The state government is giving health insurance policy to underprivileged people free of cost under Bhagat Puran Singh Sehat Bima scheme for which all the 28 lakh blue card holders should be registered, Chief Secretary Sarvesh Kaushal said.
"The registration work should be completed at the earliest so that the people can get the benefits of the scheme," he said during a meeting with district and health officers here today.
The Chief Secretary also instructed the officers concerned to resolve all the revenue related matters of the health insurance scheme by March 31.
Also in case of accidental death or permanent disability, financial help of Rs five lakh is provided under it, the Chief Secretary added.
