"The core group (of NC) has expressed the view that the PDP-BJP government has failed to provide relief to the victims of the September floods and did not get the relief package submitted by the previous government approved by the Government of India. The core group resolves that National Conference would continue to fight for the dignified rehabilitation of flood victims," an NC spokesman said here.
The spokesman said the core group held detailed discussions on the post-election scenario and the functioning of the PDP-BJP dispensation.
"The core group expressed concern over the issuance of Permanent Resident Certificates (PRCs) at the school level violating the rules of the established process, and thereby opening the doors for attempts to initiate a demographic change in the state. It resolved that the party would continue to strongly oppose such nefarious designs," he said.
