Singer Peter Andre is all set to open 500 sports centres where student will learn Kung Fu.
Andre, who is a father to two children with ex-wife Katie Price, said it will enable kids to learn discipline, reported Sun Online.
"I'm just about to launch a franchise of Kung-Fu schools across the country. This is keeping kids off the street and it teaches them discipline," he said.
The 40-year-old star is already working alongside Fruit Shoot and Nickleodeon for the 'Get Your Skills On' campaign encouraging children to use their skills ranging from sports to beatboxing.
"One of the first things they learn is I promise I will not use this on mums, dads, grandmothers, grandads, cats, dogs or goldfish... I will use it purely for self defence," he said.
"It's all about that and learning a skill, which brings confidence. We're going to be doing quite a lot. It's going to take some time. I can't wait," he said.
The 'Mysterious Girl' hitmaker revealed that learning to protect himself has given him more confidence in dealing with day-to-day confrontations and difficult situations.
"I will still try and talk my way out of any situation but it's given me that sense of knowing if I'm in a situation I can't get out of I know what to do, and there's a good feeling about that.
