Modi, who will arrive in the temple city from Ballia, will first distribute 1000 E-rickshaws at DLW ground here and head to Assi ghat on river Ganga, where he will launch solar powered boats, Sanjay Bhardwaj, BJP's eastern UP media incharge, said.
The PM will flag off a fleet of 11 e-boats followingwhich he will also interact with boatmen at the Assi ghat, Bhardwaj said.
Tight security arrangements will be made for the visit by the administration which is already on an alert after a hand grenade was seized at district court last Saturday.
