Police arrests 16 absconding criminals in Jammu in May
These criminals, who were involved in the cases of murder, attempt to murder, kidnapping, theft, criminal breach of trust and under the Arms Act, were arrested during the month of May, a police spokesman said.
Warrants have been issued by different courts against them, he said.
Efforts are on to continue this drive in future for arresting absconders against whom warrants have been issued by various courts, the spokesman added.
