Police claim to have seized 1 quintal beef; hunt for accused

The police today claimed to have seized around one quintal beef, five cows and five vehicles in Bharatpur district late last night.
"Following a tip off, we raided a village and recovered approximately one quintal beef, five cows, one pick up jeep, three motorcycles and one more vehicle last night, " SHO, Kama police station, Rakesh Kumar said.
He said the accused, who were planning to transport the beef and the cows, absconded during the action and were being searched.
