"One pacca and four kacha houses were fully severely damaged in the cloudburst which hit Kalaban and Chhungan villages of Mendhar on July 23," Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Nisar Ahmed Wani said today.
Besides this, six cattle sheds, six shops, a footbridge and a school building were also severely damaged, he added.
While eleven kachha houses suffered partial damage, Wani said, adding, several houses and cattle sheds and other properties, including some cattle were washed away.
The district development commissioner also issued necessary directions to the concerned officers for early restoration of disrupted services.
