President Ram Nath Kovind would offer prayers at the famous hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala here on Sunday.
He is also scheduled to visit Kancheepuram in Tamil Nadu to have 'darshan' of Lord Athi Varadar at Varadaraja perumal temple.
He will arrive in Chennai on Friday and proceed to Kancheepuram by road, official sources said.
On Saturday evening, the President would head to Tirupati and reach the sacred hills by road amid tight security, a temple official said.
After an overnight stay on the hills, Kovind would offer prayers to the presiding deity of Lord Venkateswara on Sunday morning.
Later, the President would leave for Sriharikota to witness the launch of India's lunar mission, Chandrayaan-2, on July 15, a government official said.
After the launch, Kovind would return to Tirupati airport to fly back to New Delhi, he added.
