School of speed will conclude with the announcement of the fastest school in each city along with the fastest city in India. The national winners in both senior boys and girls categories will get a chance to meet the fastest man on Earth, Usain Bolt.
The Mumbai edition saw celebrity Rannvijay Singh flag off the relay race with over 250 school teams participating enthusiastically for the title. The prizes were given away by the famous speedster himself - Armaan Ebrahim, the rising young star of Indian motorsport.
In a unique format, all four children from each team ran a total of 4Km together. Teams for School of Speed have been categorised into two age groups of - juniors from 7th-8th grade and seniors from 9th-10th grade for boys and girls both.
