"I am working on a story that is about prohibition in Gujarat and the issues around it. Hopefully it should be ready in six months. I plan to show the nexus of illegal liquor. It will be an entertaining film," Dholakia told PTI.
Starcast of the film is not yet decided.
"Once I lock the script, it is after that I will finalise actors," Dholakia said.
'Parzania' was based on a real-life story of a 10-year-old Parsi boy, who disappeared during the communal riots in Gujarat. It won Dholakia a national award.
His next, Sanjay Dutt-starrer 'Lamhaa', was about Kashmir.
"I somewhere feel cinema needs to be entertaining but not mindless. Cinema is a medium where one can show reality but in an entertaining way," Dholakia said.
