Raids unearth Rs 4.46 crore assets from two officials

The Economic Offence Wing of Bihar police today conducted raids at the premises of two government officials and seized cash and properties of over Rs 4.46 crore.
In the first case, raids were conducted against the executive engineer of rural works department, Nawada, Ramchandra Gupta and properties worth over Rs 2.17 crore were seized, Additional Director General of Police (Headquarter) Ravindra Kumar told reporters.
In another search operation against district education officer of Siwan, Radha Krishna Singh Yadav, investment documents, luxury cars, jewellery, land and houses worth over Rs 2.28 crore were found, the ADG added.
