Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje has asked officers to conduct survey of damage to crops due to recent rainfall in the state.
Replying to the debate on the Motion of Thanks to the Governor's address, Raje said that the government has received some grievances on the damage to crops due to the recent rainfall so she has directed concerned authorities to conduct survey of the damage.
She said that after the survey report comes, further decision will be taken by the government accordingly.
Replying on the motion, Raje said that her government was committed to deliver good governance in the state and said that the results will not be visible immediately, but after some time.
She said that people today do not want slogans, but want a visionary government that makes planning and takes action, and said that her government will try its best to live up to the expectations of the government.
On the issue of deaths from swine flu, she said it was a national epidemic but the medical and health department of the state has done good work in treating people.
She said that Rajasthan was behind others states in deaths from swine flu.
The CM said that the states like Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh were no longer sick states and all the development in these states took place in just 15 years, and blamed the Congress party for not doing such progressive works during its regime since independence.
She said that Opposition members were trying to mislead people on various issues like employment, power, water and others.
Raje said that her government was working on improving roads and other infrastructure, linking river basins, improving education system, job creation through skill development and brining investment, tourism promotion and other works.
She said that the new tourism policy of the state was ready and will be soon announced.
