Rape accused found murdered in UP

A 32-year-old man, accused of attempted rape, was found hanging from a tree in Imalia Sultanpur area, with his family alleging that he was murdered by the girl's family members, police said today.
A case had been registered against Mitthu for allegedly attempting to rape a girl from his village on Thursday, Station Officer Imalia Sultanpur B M Tripathi said.
Last evening, Mitthu's body was found hanging from a tree outside the village with injuries on his private parts, Tripathi said.
The victim's family alleged that he was murdered and hanged by the family of girl who had lodged the case against him, the SO said.

He said a case has been lodged against four persons, including father and brothers of the girl, in this connection.
The body had been sent for post-mortem and the main accused are absconding, the police official said.
