Rape victim commits suicide in Saharanpur

A minor girl who was allegedly raped by an unidentified youth here has committed suicide by setting herself ablaze, police said today.
Superintendent of Police Dehat, Dharamvir Singh said that the girl, belonging to Buddakheda village, was allegedly raped a youth of the same village two days ago.
The girl was troubled over the incident and set herself ablaze inside her room yesterday. She was admitted to a district hospital and succumbed to her injuries today, he said.
Police is on the lookout to nab the absconding accused.
