Girl accuses man of raping her repeatedly

An 18-year-old girl, a graduate student, has accused a man of raping her repeatedly, filming the act and threatening and blackmailing her with it.
According to the police, the girl, daughter of a milk-seller, had gone to deliver milk to the house of one Virendra, a resident of Dabua Colony here on January 13.
Virendra was alone at home and called her inside and offered her a glass of water, which, after drinking, she lost conciousness. When she regained her senses, she found herself nude with Virendra looking at her.
Virendra told her that he had raped her and had also filmed the act. He threatened that he would upload the video on internet if she disclosed about the incident to anyone.

The victim said that Virendra had earlier also raped her on many occasions and used to blackmail her and demand money from her every now and then, and also used to issue her threat to life.
The girl also said that her engagement with another man had been broken as Virendra had sent her obscene pictures to the groom-to-be.

Scared, she did not reveal about it until the rape in January, after which she disclosed about the incident to her parents.
A complaint filed under sections 376, 328 and 506 of IPC with the Saran police station here yesterday.
The girl got her statement registered in the presence of the legal counsel Meenakshi Anchal Kumar.

The police are investigating the case, investigating officer Krishna Devi said.
