The 37-year-old former NSYNC member says it's high time he should plan for kids as his friends are already getting on their second child, reported People magazine.
"I kept telling myself over the past few years, 'Well, I want to make sure, you know, if this show gets picked up, then I know I'll be in LA for the next five years, so then that'll be the time.
"And (being told I'll never do it if I wait for a perfect time) is what I've come across (over) the last three years because all my friends are having their kids, and I want my kids to grow up with them. And now they're getting on their second kid and I'm still not on my first. So I imagine we would probably start the process early next year," he said.
Bass and Turchin have been married for two years now.
