Meanwhile, groundnut oil, castorseeds bold, castoroil commercial and linseed all held steady in the absence of any major buying activity.
In futures trade, castorseeds bold continued to slide on sustained selling from traders amid sluggish export enquiries.
In the edible section, refined palmolein inched up to Rs 663 per 10 kg from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 662. Groundnut oil closed unchanged at Rs 1,260 per 10 kg.
Turning to futures, castorseed for June contract resumed lower at Rs 3,400, moved in a range of Rs 3,427 and Rs 3,381 before ending at Rs 3,386 over its previous close of Rs 3,411, showing a fall of Rs 25 per tonne.
However, castorseeds bold, castoroil commercial and linseed oil closed unaltered at Rs 3,300, Rs 690 and Rs 775, respectively. PTI EDM RAH
