 "Refined soya oil rises 0.22% on rising spot demand")

Supported by rising domestic demand, refined soya oil prices were traded higher by 0.22 per cent to Rs 597.00 per 10 kg in futures trade today.
In futures trade at the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in June edged up by Rs 1.30, or 0.22 per cent to Rs 597.00 per 10 kg with an open interest of 10,715 lots.
The August contract traded higher by a similar margin at Rs 587.50 per 10 kg in 1,60,750 lots.
Market analysts said besides rising demand in the spot market, restricted supplies from producing belts influenced refined soya oil prices at futures trade.
