Renowned Urdu laureate Wahad Ashrafi passes away
He was 76.
Ashrifi was survived by his widow and four sons.
He was dean of department of Urdu in Ranchi University and author of more than three dozen books.
He was also recipient of several national and international awards.
Meanwhile, RJD supremo Lalu Prasad, Secretary General Ramkripal Yadav, JD(U) leader Aslam Azad condoled his death.
