The Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU) and the National Institute of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj (NIRDPR) have inked a pact to promote mutual cooperation in educational and research activities, a press release said today.
The memorandum would also look at establishing a framework for programmes of exchange and collaboration in areas of rural development, tourism and other areas of common interests, it said.
The pact was signed yesterday at the conclusion of the two-day national seminar on Role of CBOs and NGOs in emerging rural transformation scenario.
RGU Registrar Prof Tomo Riba signed the MoU on behalf of the central varsity while NIRDPR director Prof R M Pant was the signatory for the institute.
