The looted amount of 2 million Nepali Rupees belonged to Infrastructure Bank of Chandranigahapur.
A group of masked robbers, who came in two motorbikes, opened fired at the Assistant Manager of Infrastructure Bank, and security guard as they were coming out from the bank after withdrawing the amount and looted it, according to police.
A security guard sustained bullet injury in his thigh when he tried to stop the robbers while the Assistant Manager escaped unharmed.
Meanwhile, police has nabbed one of the four robbers from the forest area in Jodiwal hours after the incident.
Police had to open fire to to get hold of one of the suspected robbers. The suspect, also sustained injury in his right leg. The police have started investigation into the matter after taking him into custody.
