"His (Nitish's) needle is stuck on prohibition, whereas what he should be doing is put a check on crime," BJP national spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain told newspersons here.
"Sharab ka nasha to band kar diya, satta ka nasha band kar ke dikhayen (he has managed to check the influence of liquor, let's see if he can check the influence of power)... legislators with the ruling coalition and their people are involved in criminal activities taking place in Bihar," Hussain alleged.
At separate public meetings in Varanasi and Lucknow recently, Nitish had given a call to implement prohibition in UP and indicated that it will be made an issue in 2017 Assembly polls in UP by his Janata Dal (United).
