The 37-year-old is hoping to buy a place in Beverly Hills so he can escape the string of lovers he notched up between yoga classes earlier this year, reported Daily Star.
"Since he split from Katy Perry, Russell has been involved with quite a few of the women he used to meet in yoga classes.
"It's become quite awkward for him because now he has a new girlfriend and doesn't want to be running into former conquests every day. He decided that buying his own studio would be the perfect solution and has his heart set on buying one on Melrose Avenue," a source said.
The funnyman split from his superstar wife Perry, 27, last December.
