Reports of SRK's special appearance in the film had been doing the rounds for quite some time and today Amar Butala COO, Salman Khan Films (SKF), confirmed the news.
"When you have two of India's biggest superstars on set its MAGIC!Thank u @iamsrk for making #Tubelight even more special! @BeingSalmanKhan #skf," Butala tweeted.
Apart from the Rakesh Roshan-directed film, which completed clocked 21 years recently, Salman and Shah Rukh have worked together in "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai" and "Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam".
"Tubelight" majorly shot in Leh, Ladakh and Manali also stars late veteran actor Om Puri and Chinese actress Zhu Zhu.
The movie is slated to release on Eid this year.
