"Actress Sana Khan and her boyfriend Ismail Khan were arrested under IPC sections 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) and 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation) following a complaint by a woman, named Poonam Khanna," said Amboli police station's senior inspector Ramesh Khadtare.
The 'Jai Ho' actress Sana and her boyfriend Ismail Khan had on October 21 allegedly twisted the hands of the victim, touched her inappropriately and threatened her over an article which appeared in a newspaper last week.
The incident had occurred in the accused's vehicle outside a hospital in suburban Andheri.
