"The famous temple is receiving donations for Annadanam scheme from various quarters. For FY14, we have received Rs 2.50 crore," the temple said in a release.
"The temple has so far received donations to the tune of Rs 23 crore for this scheme and earning an interest of Rs 2.26 crore," the release said.
The temple authorities claimed that nearly 8 lakh devotees are provided with free meals under 'Annadanam' scheme.
