SDPI to stage protests on June 27

Social Democratic Party of India today said it will organise a protest march to Electricity Bhavan at Thiruvananthapuram on June 27, demanding that electricity department recover the over Rs 3000 crore due from big business firms.
Speaking to reporters here today, Nazaruddin Elamaram, State General Secretary, SDPI said the party would also conduct protest marches to KSEB offices across the state the same day.
The electricity department which acts strict with the common man for non-payment of electricity bills,takes a liberal attitude with multi-resorts and hospitals, he alleged.
