Thoor dal,moong dal and gram dal rose by Rs.100 per quintal to Rs.8,000, Rs.9,700 and Rs.4,000 each from its yesterday's closing rates of Rs.7,900, Rs.9,600 and Rs. 3,900, respectively.
Urad dal rose sharply by Rs.200 per quintal to Rs. 8,200 from Rs.8.000.
Wheat rose by Rs.50 per quintal to Rs.2,750 from its closing rates of Rs.2,700.
Sugar, Maida (90 kg) and Sooji (90 kg) ruled steady in the market.
Following are the wholesale rates of various agri- commodities (in Rs per quintal, except where stated otherwise): Thoor Dal Rs 8,000 Urad Dal Rs 8,200 Moong Dal Rs 9,700, Gram Dal Rs 4,000, Sugar Rs 3,100, Wheat Rs 2,750, Maida (90 kg) Rs 2,500 and Sooji (90 kg) Rs 2,900.
