Marketmen said fresh buying by stockists, driven by uptick in demand from retailers amid restricted supplies from producing regions mainly attributed the rise in select pulses prices.
In the national capital, arhar and its dal dara variety moved up by Rs 200 each to Rs 8,700 and Rs 11,600-13,300 per quintal, respectively.
Moong and its dal chilka local rebounded by Rs 200 each to Rs 6,100-6,700 and Rs 6,650-7,050 per quintal. Its dal dhoya local and best quality traded higher by similar margin to Rs 7,050-7,550 and Rs 7,550-7,750 per quintal, respectively.
Malka local and best quality followed suit and gained Rs 100 each to Rs 6,900-7,200 and Rs 7,000-7,300 per quintal.
In line with overall trend, urad and its dal chilka local too recovered by Rs 100 each to Rs 10,600-11,800 and Rs 10,700-10,800 per quintal respectively. Its dal best quality and dhoya traded higher by the same margin to Rs 10,800-11,300 and Rs 11,200-11,500 per quintal respectively.
Gram, gramdal local and best quality were up by Rs 100 each to Rs 5,800-6,300, Rs 6,100-6,400 and Rs 6,550-6,650 per quintal, respectively.
