As the Devendra Fadnavis government completed one year in the office today, war of words between BJP and Shiv Sena has intensified ahead of the civic polls in Kalyan-Dombivali and Kolhapur.
Yesterday the Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray had said his party would walk out of the alliance if "BJP continues its arrogance".
He also described the Sena leader and cabinet minister Eknath Shinde's offer to resign as a mere drama.
Danve, who was here to meet the party workers on the occasion of first anniversary of government, expressed confidence that it would complete the five-year term.
The government had done substantial work in fields such as irrigation, he said.
