Shemaroo Entertainment's Q3 net jumps 38.2% at Rs 10.19 cr

Shemaroo Entertainment today reported 38.2 per cent jump in net profit at Rs 10.19 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2014.
The net profit stood at Rs 7.37 crore in the corresponding period last year.
Total income increased by 1.5 per cent to Rs 87.66 crore in the third quarter from Rs 86.32 crore in year ago period.
EBITDA increased by 17.5 per cent to Rs 20.26 crore as against Rs 17.24 crore in Q3 FY2014, a company statement said.

Educomp to install smartclass sol in 21,000 classrooms in FY15 * Educomp Solutions today said it aims to add 21,000 new classrooms under its flagship Smartclass programme this fiscal.
Educomp is in the process of signing up more than 11,000 classrooms during the second half of the current fiscal, in addition to the 10,000 already added in the first half of FY15, it said in a statement.
The company is now selling the Smartclass product upfront as opposed to its earlier practice of subscription-based EMI model. This has resulted in an improved cash flow, it added.

NSE signs MoU to offer courses in business administration * Leading bourse NSE has inked a pact with Jagan Nath Gupta Memorial Educational Society (JIMS), to launch courses in business administration in eight educational institutes across Delhi, UP, Haryana and Rajasthan.
"The objective of these courses is to create a pool of professionally qualified skilled managers and entrepreneurs, to meet the growing needs of trade and industry in the coming years," the National Stock Exchange said in a statement today.
Under the pact, NSE and Jims will offer BBA and MBA courses as well as other short term certificate courses in 8 of the universities, management institutes and engineering colleges across Delhi, UP, Haryana and Rajasthan.
