Delhi Dynamos' new recruit Shubham Sarangi will head to Aspire Academy for a four-month long training stint at the state-of-the-art facilities in Doha, Qatar.
17-year old Shubham, who signed for the club earlier this month, will reap benefits of the famous training facilities and the coaching expertise that Aspire Academy brings with itself.
"This is a wonderful opportunity for me and I want to make the most of these four months. I have been working under Aspire coaches here in Delhi Dynamos and I like the style of football that they are implementing at the club.
"It's a good learning experience and it is something that not many Indian players have had a chance to experience," a delighted Sarangi said.
Aspire - the Technical Partners of Delhi Dynamos; have one of the most sought-after facilities in the world with the likes of Real Madrid and Bayern Munich also using it for their age group teams.
This opportunity will help Shubham to develop into a leading footballer as he will be playing with footballers from leading academies and teams across the world.
"At Aspire, Shubham will get an exposure like never before. He will have 6-8 training sessions a week where he can work on himself and under some very experienced coaches.
"This opportunity will also see him play against players of similar age from renowned European teams, which will help him get a lot of experience," Oscar Garro, Director of External Projects, Aspire Academy said.
"When we joined hands with Aspire last year, the idea was to help develop Indian footballers and give them a huge platform where they can express themselves and enjoy the benefits of world class coaching.
"With Shubham being the first player to head to academy, the club would want to wish him all the best and hope he comes back with a great footballing experience," Delhi Dynamos CEO Ashish Shah said.
