Six arrested for ATM robbery

Six persons were arrested today on the charge of robbing an ATM of a bank at Srirampur near Tamluk in East Midnapore district.
The police said Rs 18 lakh was stolen from the ATM on Monday evening when the staff of the bank were leaving for home.
The arrested people were tracked from CCTV footage available from the ATM counter. A total of Rs 40,000, ten mobile sets, two guns were seized from them.
