Six injured in clash over ration distribution

Six persons were injured after a clash broke out in Ghari village here over distribution of rations, police said today.
The incident took place last evening when the dealer of a fair price shop refused to sell goods to ration card holders, leading to protests from locals.
The situation snowballed into a clash between two groups which pelted stones at each other.
A case has been registered in this connection against 20 people. Ten have been arrested for breach of peace.
Six persons who were injured in the stone pelting, were admitted to hospital.
