'Sleepy Hollow's third season renewal is reportedly in doubt over a showrunner shake-up.
Writer-producer Mark Goffman is departing the series as Fox executives continue to deliberate over a possible third season, reports Digital Spy.
Goffman has inked a deal with CBS TV to develop new projects.
A search is apparently underway for a new showrunner in case season three gets an official commission.
'Sleepy Hollow's second season ended last month in controversial fashion over the fate of Ichabod Crane's family.
The show's star Tom Mison recently revealed that a possible third run for the show will act as a "reboot" based around Crane's core team.
